I bought one of these way back in 2003. It was my first mod to my SRT-4. The statement of "If you want to know how loud it is, it's too loud for you." is pretty much on point. It's piercingly loud, people will know you're coming down the road blocks away when you blow off with this. It's a straight air sound and doesn't have the metallic whistle like the GReddy and HKS or some of the other TXS will. As far as installing, easy. I ran with the stock spring that was in there as the stiffer springs were too strong for the boost/vacuum used to work the valve. After that, it was off to sound cool and piss some people off, along with screw my own hearing up trying to blow-off next to walls and such(it's how I know it's "piercing").

When it comes down to it though, it's still just a blow-off valve and works as such, but DAMN is it loud, though. If you're trying to stay low-key with mods, this isn't the one for you by any means. Even for the guys that have to recirculate, it's loud then too. -just not as loud as atmosphere venting. I have a TDI now and will probably get another just because it was fun to have back then. Either way, thanks for reading all this jibberish. You guys will enjoy this, if you go this route.
