It took years of design and steady testing to perfect this Mk4 and Mk5 4-cylinder engine side mount. Completely replace your old, tired, hydraulic engine-side setup with this solution. The weakest of the three engine mounts, the passenger side is fluid-filled to aid in creating a softer, cushier ride. The result is equivalent to a soft and cushy suspension, lack of torque control. With the drivetrain's mass constanly moving about, the suspension is unsettled and traction becomes a challenge to maintain.
This softness is a detriment to overall longevity, too. The fluid within the mount can often fail prematurely. This possibility is eliminated by replacing the mount completely with a proprietary bushing and bracket design. Bushing area is maximized so as to minimize vibration. This side mount has advantage of offering ehanced control without sacvrificing civility. -unique for a polyurethane bushing.
Stage 1 with its 65a durometer bushings are geared towards the spirited enthusiast who wants better control over motor movement without the sacrifice of excessive vibrations. Its our recommendation for all 4cyl street cars.
Stage 2 with its 85a durometer bushings are more for the hardcore enthusiast who is more concerned with performance than cabin vibration â€“ great for spirited runs and track cars.

Each complete replacement mount comes with two bushings, one 304 stainless base plate, one 6061 aluminum center bracket, and all washers and hardware necessary to mount to your vehicle.
