If one of the less aggressive cam doesn't offer quite enough up top and a bit of low-rpm torque can be sacrificed, then the 266° (A.k.a. 270°) hydraulic sport cam is a great bet for the street. Gains at the crank are typically 8 - 10hp with stock cylinder head and 50% more when combined with head flow work. Chilled hardened billet, 223° duration @ .050", .448" Lift, 112° lobe centers. All hydraulic 8v engines are well served by this capable and flexible option.
Note: Heavy-duty valves spring recommended for OBDII 2.0l 8v ('95+) engines.
