Front Subframe Bushings (MK4 VW & MK1 TT: Aluminum)

Our Mk4 subframe bushings are made from 6061-T6 aluminum. -lighter weight than their bronze brothers but just as hard. They are not as impact tolerant, however. -perfect for street use and road racing vs. forest rallying. Invest a couple of hours and enjoy superior handling with zero compromises.

Please Note: Our bushings are precision CNC machined to within a few ten-thousandths of an inch. However, the stock steel subframe has very sloppy tolerances. It will be required to clearance your subframe to fit these parts. A sanding roll or carbide grinding bit can be used.  The amount of material varies on each subframe. Volkswagen made these very sloppy as the stock subframe bushings have rubber sleeves.

Combine with polyurethane steering rack bushings for a great upgrade in steering feel and precision! For the ultimate handling upgrade, add tubular front control arms and don't look back.
