These direct fitting bits are machined from 6061 aluminum Swap them into later MK1/2 heads with 22mm threaded cups when converting to or upgrading electronic fuel injection. That means the Digifant 8v, 16v (KR/PL/9A) intake manifold. Add a deserved dose of protective strength.
Note: Installation should be done with the intake manifold out of the car. This is to prevent sealant and whatever other grime is on or around your stock injector cups from dropping into and contaminating the engine. Upon removal of the stock injector cups the intake manifold threads will need to be cleaned prior to installation.
