The Water/Methanol Injection (WMI) Pump Driver has been specifically designed to provide optimal pulse width modulated (PWM) control of water/methanol injection pumps. Each driver can be used to provide a single WMI pump with precision PWM control at frequencies up to 1,000 Hz. The WMI Pump Driver is compatible with all WMI pumps including AEM, Aquamist, Alky Control, Cooling Mist, Devil’s Own, ProMeth (PM 75, PM115, and PM 190), Snow Performance, and the USRT HAMMER (400+psi).
When using PWM to control a solenoid there is a limit to how quickly the solenoid is able to open and close. Below a certain duty cycle the solenoid will never open, and above a certain duty cycle the solenoid will never close. While the opening time is primarily determined by battery voltage, the closing time can vary greatly depending on the hardware being used to control the solenoid. The hardware inside of the Low Amp Solenoid Driver has been designed to minimize the time required for your solenoid to close, allowing you to achieve the maximum possible dynamic flow range from your injection system.

Safely controlling a water/methanol injection (or similar) pump requires either a solid state relay or driver circuit. So does a flow control solenoid for cutting or allowing fluid flow. A complete driver (vs. conventional relay) is vitally important to use. That's because because it reduces voltage spikes that occur when the pump switches off. Such spikes can outright FRY a boost controller or standalone ECU.
