This controller is unique in that it takes 0-5V inputs reads IDC from port fuel injected car's ECU (i.e. not direct injection). This means that flow rate is proportional to fuel flow vs. air. Thus, even high-compression normally aspirated vehicles can be improved. Or, take a signal from the MAF sensors (which adjusts for air temperature). OR, go with an external MAP sensor with more boost range than 35psi (2.4bar).
A big limitation, however, is lack of compatibility with fast acting solenoids like the incredible RACE valves. You'll have to actuate the slow and clumsy pump instead. Those who want the most serious value plus CONTROL advantage should go for the fully mappable FrostByte instead. Or, for even more, step up to the mighty Cortex EBC.
No matter what your style, an engine load referencing controller is mandatory for proper operation. Easily set start and full activation points, monitor the status LED, and utilize pump test buttons for simple system mainenance and diagnostics.
Both the power and ground wires to the pump are integrated into the harness. This simplifies the wiring process and eliminates chances of the pump accidentally activating from a short in the system.
