DON'T FRY YOUR CONTROLLER! Normal relays create voltage spikes when depowered and those can smoke an output channel. This includes the mighty Cortex EBC or Torqbyte CM5-LTS. A Hella-brand part, this one features a suppression diode to eliminates the voltage issue altogether.
Use this part for actuating simple on/off hardware like Fluid Control Solenoid. Do not use it with a water/meth pump, boost control solenoid, or anything else that is regulated via pulse width modulation. This is a simple and rugged part with much needed refinement added.
Note: D87 configuration provides two normally open terminals.
