Compatible with Golf 4-cylinder and new 5-cylinder Jetta cars 2004 and up. This differential has 113mm ring gear diameter and uses our new 02JB-specific bolt kit. Order with VIN to make sure correct differential is provided. (This method is not foolproof. VW has yet come up with a way to inform the public as to which ring gear they have.) All Mk5 Jettas/Golfs with 5-cylinder 2.5l engine take this 02J498005B unit. See Peloquin 02JA differential for older cars.
Our differential comes with 2 bearings, special ARP bolt kit, speedo gear, o-rings and gasket.
Availability (10/20/22): Per Gary Peloquin, 020, 02A/J, and 02M differentials are expected to be ready by the end of December. The 02Q are projected for first quarter of next year.
Special note: This differential also fits 02S SEAT LEON and 02R Polo newer than production date 01/10/03 (mm/dd/yr). This date (along with letters) is found atop transmission near where shift cable connects to transmission.
