USRT recommends slotted rotors over drilled. That's because slotted brake rotors prevent glazing of the pads, improve initial "bite", and evacuate pad gases that hamper the pad's ability to grab the rotor surface. These premium quality rotors will outlast lower grade parts with superior resistance to cracking due to thermal stress. High molybdenum content extends reliability, service life and helps reduce noise, too.
