ARP 02A/02J 10mm Ring Gear Bolt Kit

VW 02A/J ring gear bolt kit with 12-point nuts, 1.180" Under Head Length, M10 x 1.25" Thread Size. ARP Ring Gear Bolts are forged from premium grade 8740 chrome moly steel and are heat-treated to a nominal rating of 200,000 psi tensile strength. Specially hardened precision-ground washers are included where required.

The tremendous shock loads generated in racing put considerable strain on the ring gear. That includes launching most any drag racing vehicle equipped with slicks, the acceleration and deceleration of road race cars, or landing jumps in rally cars. For this reason, the fastener experts at ARP have developed the Pro Series ring gear bolts.

Note: Early 02A's with transmission code ATA with production number up to 12099 will require 020 gear bolt kit (204-3001).
