Finish the end of your 8AN braided hose with a 90deg angle. These parts are commonly used for water/methanol injection systems (and will soon be featured in pump inlet kits). They're also suitable for oil coolers on small engines that run street RPMs (but we routinely use 10AN for all).
These lightweight bits resist heavy methanol concentrations without corroding. AN fittings are the choice of pro builders but are easy for casual builders to work with, too.
