With a big turbo you want the tallest ratio that provides full boost when you need it. With a short ratio, you're almost gauranteed to skip through first and second gears without any. With a very short ratio, third gear might be missed, too. Also enjoy superior fuel efficiency and less "buzz" while cruising. Fits all VW Mk4 Golf, Jetta, New Beetle with later-spec 02J 113mm bolt pattern (typically 2004 and later).
