The DSG "COLD COVER" radiates heat out of the transmission and into the ambient air. Track cars routinely go into limp mode when oil temperatures reach 138°C/280°F. When that happens, the Mechatronic unit commands a reduction in engine torque. When heat goes past 145°C/293°F, the multi-disc clutches are no longer provided with fluid pressure and the clutches open.) -PARTY OVER.
This system adds water cooling capacity to your OEM DSG system. That's by increasing total coolant volume and also improving its heat radiation capacity.
