Only the highest quality PTFE-lined spherical bearings and Seal-It washers are used which provide the best road feedback that money can buy. Bearing housings are machined from 6061 T6 aluminum billet and are then anodized for long life. Spacers are made from 1018 DOM steel and are finished in yellow zinc chromate for corrosion resistance. Keeping parts clean is a simple affair: Remove a single retaining ring, clean (or swap out) the bearing, and get back into the action.
It is important to know that VW's clevis brackets are produced with varying dimensions. Thus, the spacers may need to be machined so that the bearing carrier is perfectly centered. So, expect to do a minor amount of custom fitment.
Note: Be sure to include your VIN and MODEL YEAR in the order notes. Volkswagen's system of parts provision is somewhat arbitrary and error prone. Accuracy is about 90% in providing the correct part without any measuring. If the incorrect part is provided, it will be swapped without any penalty. The sure fire method is to measure the existing bushing diameter. Please provide that information, when possible.
