Reducer (4AN to 3AN)

These parts are often used to run 3AN line after our mighty RACE valves. Smaller capacity line improves control accuracy. -not only measurable in power output but in ease or frustration during a dyno session.

Side by side, a cross section difference is visually apparent. Mathematical calculation reveals the larger truth, however. A shocking 77% flow area difference exists between 4AN (1/4") and 3AN (3/16"). This is even more significant when thought of in terms of volume. The greater the amount, the sloppier control becomes. After fast solenoid valves, keep lines short and small diameter for best tuning response.
