This all-metal tensioner is extremely light weight (6oz/170g) and contains a precision 20k-rpm bearing. It will perform more quietly and will far outlast the OEM plastic bits. Installation is a breeze: Simply release belt tension, remove the tensioner pulley bolt, and swap parts.
This part (shown above at left position) fits all 2.0T FSI with BPY code. These are found in various VW EOS, Golf, GTI, Jetta, and Passat, Audi A3, and A4.
