Improve ride quality AND traction by reducing unsprung weight. Swap the rear brake Mk1/2/3 steel calipers to Mk4 aluminum versions with this conversion kit. Use with original carriers. Fits '93-1998 Golf/Jetta 4 cylinder/VR6 directly.
Mk1 vehicles will require small adjustments to hard lines and/or extended emergency brake cables.
Note: Also consider an upgrade to braided steel lines for a more sensitive/less mushy pedal feeling. The improvement to threshold braking modulation is significant.
