For street use, we offer the Wavetrac 020. Torque actuation is slightly less aggressive than Peloquin. However, it's also internally tunable for tarmac, street, or strip events. Most will never alter the original configuration. Whereas, Peloquins are similarly adjustable but via external "80% shim kit".) Peloquins come with ring gear bolts and also bearings. Wavetrac requires you to buy an ARP Ring Gear Bolt Kit. And, you'll need bearings, too (which USRT does not currently carry).
The Wavetrac® 10309150WK behavior can be altered during tear down to suit performance needs. It comes standard with carbonfiber bias plates for the best all around performance. Interchangeable plates using materials with different friction coeficients to fine-tune the bias ratio are sold separately. These friction plates provide a mechanism to tune the response of the differential as a function of applied torque load.
Ultimately, however, those racing on loose surfaces (including wet pavement) will better served by our Kaaz Rally/Race Differential. They are the real deal for competition usage. -a bit burly on the street but ultimately the grip and control kings.
