02A Shift Cable Repair Block (Side/Side)

Our billet stainless steel part quickly replaces the weak forward end of VW's side/side shift cable where it connects to the transmission lever. It is also commonly used for "side of the road" repairs when the side/side shift cable breaks. Simply tighten down the 4 stainless internal hex bolts to grab the side/side cable and use the existing hardware to re-attach the side/side cable end to the transmission linkage.

If your cable is not yet broken, throw one  of these in the glove box and be prepared for the inevitable!

There is no need to source an entire shift cable mechanism (which is very hard to find, and also quite pricey) in the event of a broken shift cable. Simply install this part and you are back on the road and ready for action!
