"OOooooh, that beefy TORQUE, though! That SOUND!" There's no beating a VR6 in these departments. Good thing it's no longer hard work to shoehorn one of these big lumps into your Mk1! Hardware is supplied for all O2A/O2J trans versions. Some feature threaded mounting holes while others are smooth bore. (See image below.) Don’t be alarmed with the left over hardware.
Mounts are constructed from beautifully TIG-welded mild steel. A fine black powder coat preserves looks and structure. That's while Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings keep the drivetrain from moving around on hard launches. Fitment of 2.8L 12V/24V, 3.2L and 3.6L becomes a cinch. Worry about your fueling and engine management. That's fussy. This is easy.

The front support and engine mount provide added strength and rigidity to the unibody for improved handling, ride quality, and longevity. The custom axles are straight bolt ons, corrosion resistant, made from heat-treated 4140 steel that's nitrated to 58 Rockwell hardness. The axles are designed specifically for this application and are a custom length to fit precisely with this set up. Thus, you'll retain your factory Mk1 spindles.
All hardware is supplied to complete the setup. Mounting and axle bolts are protected via lovely yellow zinc coating.
